YOUR KITCHEN LIBRARY — EASY UPGRADE TO 1.0.4
================================================

This package is for an EXISTING v1.0.0 through v1.0.3 Linux/Synology Docker site.
It is NOT a new installer. Never delete your existing installation or data.

THE EASY WAY
1. Download this ZIP to your Synology NAS using File Station.
2. Extract it to a NEW folder separate from your current recipe site.
3. Connect to your NAS via SSH and change to that extracted folder.
4. Type exactly ONE command:

   bash UPDATE.sh

The wizard searches common Synology Docker folders. If it finds several recipe
sites, it asks which one to update. If none are found, it asks for the old
installation directory. Do not point it at this extracted upgrade folder.

It displays the intended site, automatically checks the bundled release
checksum, and runs a preflight plan BEFORE changing the application.
Review that plan and type UPGRADE when asked. It then verifies a database
backup and a snapshot of old application code before changing files and
performing migrations, and checks that the upgraded site is healthy.

The script preserves .env, recipes and uploaded photos, existing database,
Owner/user accounts, and settings. Previous manual changes to PHP files may
be replaced; their old copies are included in the code backup. An independent
NAS/external backup is still strongly recommended.

Need to check WITHOUT changing anything?

   bash UPDATE.sh --dry-run

If auto-discovery cannot see your installed folder, pass its exact path:

   bash UPDATE.sh --install-dir /volume1/docker/YOUR-CURRENT-SITE

After success, sign in as Owner and go to Admin View > Software Updates.
Future in-app updates require a ONE-TIME host updater setup. On Synology,
follow the on-screen DSM Task Scheduler instructions or read docs/UPDATER.md
in the updated installation.

Never email your passwords, .env file, session cookies or database dumps.
